About StriKing

What is StriKing Marketing?
StriKing Marketing is an Atlanta-based experiential marketing and event management agency with over 16 years of experience creating results-driven brand activations, live events, and community-focused campaigns. We specialize in turning brands into experiences — the kind people feel, remember, and talk about. From high-profile concerts and festivals to grassroots sampling campaigns and corporate activations, we design and execute events that move culture and move people.
How long has StriKing been in business?
StriKing Marketing was founded in 2010 by Michael King in Atlanta, Georgia. With over 16 years in operation and more than two decades of combined leadership experience, we are one of Atlanta's most established and trusted experiential agencies. We have grown from a boutique operation into a full-service team that produces approximately 260 events per year.
Where is StriKing Marketing located?
We are headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia — the cultural, creative, and commercial capital of the South. Our deep ties to the city's communities, institutions, and creative ecosystem give us a home-field advantage that national agencies simply cannot replicate. We serve clients across Atlanta, the Southeast, and nationwide.
What makes StriKing different from other experiential marketing agencies?
Three things set us apart. First, we are Atlanta-first — our relationships and community presence are built over 16 years, not assembled for a pitch. Second, we are nimble and improvisational. Mike King's background as a co-founder of The Village Theatre, Atlanta's award-winning improv comedy company, is baked into how we work: we read the room, adapt on the fly, and solve problems creatively without missing a beat. Third, we are a genuine extension of your team — we integrate with your brand, your agencies, and your vendors to get it done right.
What is StriKing's positioning statement?
Atlanta's #1 Experiential Activation Team. We are an experiential agency, an event management company, and a crowd movement specialist — all in one. Our tagline is simple: We Are Events.

Leadership & Team

Who is Mike King?
Michael King is the President and CEO of StriKing Marketing, and one of Atlanta's most respected figures in experiential marketing and events. With over 20 years in the marketing and PR industry, Mike founded StriKing in 2010 on the principles of hard work, excellence in client service, and delivering value through attention to detail at every stage of the events lifecycle. He has driven highly successful programs for multi-million-dollar clients including American Express, Coca-Cola, GM, Kaiser Permanente, Major League Baseball, Pepsi, Red Bull, and the Atlanta Hawks. In the community, Mike is also a co-founding owner and performer at The Village Theatre, Atlanta's award-winning improv comedy company in the Old Fourth Ward.
Who else is on the StriKing leadership team?
StriKing is led by an experienced, long-tenured team: Mike King (President & CEO) drives vision, client relationships, and strategy. Travis Irions (VP of Strategy & Operations) leads planning and operational execution. Drew Morris (VP of Staffing & Operations) — with StriKing since 2011 — manages talent, staffing, and on-the-ground logistics. Ann Nelson (VP of Finance) oversees financial operations and business administration. Together, this team brings decades of combined event and marketing expertise to every engagement.
What is the connection between StriKing and The Village Theatre?
Mike King is a co-founding owner and active performer at The Village Theatre, an award-winning improv comedy company in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward. This is more than a personal passion — it is a direct expression of the StriKing philosophy. Improv is about listening, adapting, and making something work in real time, which is exactly how we approach events. When something unexpected happens on-site (and it always does), our team reads the room, pivots, and executes without missing a beat. That improv mentality is a genuine competitive advantage.

Experiential & Brand Activation

What is experiential marketing?
Experiential marketing is the practice of creating live, immersive brand encounters that allow consumers to directly interact with a product, service, or idea. Rather than telling your audience about your brand, you invite them inside it. Done well, experiential marketing generates immediate emotional connections, authentic word-of-mouth, and lasting brand recall that traditional advertising cannot match. At StriKing, we design activations where moments become movements — where your brand's message is felt, not just heard.
What types of brand activations does StriKing produce?
We produce a full range of experiential activations: brand launch activations, sampling and product trial events, sponsorship activations at sporting events and festivals, pop-up experiences in high-traffic locations, street teams and grassroots campaigns, and corporate brand activations. No activation is too large, too niche, or too unconventional — we embrace the odd and the unexpected.
Do you handle unusual or unconventional events?
Absolutely — and frankly, those are some of our favorites. Our improv-rooted culture means we thrive in ambiguity and complexity. Whether it is an activation at an unusual venue, a concept that has never been done before, or a last-minute request that would send other agencies running, StriKing is built for exactly that kind of challenge. If your event is unconventional, bring it to us first.
Can StriKing handle both strategy and execution?
Yes. We offer end-to-end experiential services — from concept development and strategic planning through to on-site execution, staffing, and post-event reporting. We can plug in at any stage of your process, function as a full-service partner, or operate as a seamless extension of your internal marketing team or existing agency of record.
04

Event Management & Production

What types of events does StriKing manage?
StriKing produces a wide range of events: large-scale festivals and outdoor events with complex logistics, concerts and entertainment events, sporting event activations, corporate events, networking events, community and cultural events, and high-volume sampling campaigns across multiple markets simultaneously. We also frequently support one-of-a-kind events that don't fit a standard category.
How many events does StriKing produce per year?
StriKing produces approximately 260 events per year — across Atlanta, the Southeast, and nationally for our key clients. That volume reflects the depth of our client relationships and the operational systems we have built to support high-frequency, high-quality event delivery at scale.
What is the largest event StriKing has managed?
StriKing has served as the experiential and event management partner for some of the largest events in Atlanta's history, including the MLS All-Star Game and Concert, the Beltline Block Party, three Red Bull Soap Box Derbies, and large-scale ongoing programming for Kaiser Permanente across Atlanta. We have also produced events for the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Braves, and numerous national brands in sports, entertainment, and consumer goods.
Does StriKing handle event logistics?
Yes — logistics is a core strength. We manage permitting, vendor coordination, venue relationships, staffing, load-in/load-out scheduling, on-site management, and post-event wrap. Our VP of Staffing & Operations, Drew Morris, has been managing StriKing's operational backbone since 2011. We operate with the detail-orientation of a production company and the creative energy of a marketing agency.
05

Crowd Management

What is crowd management and why is it a StriKing specialty?
Crowd management is the strategic planning, coordination, and real-time management of people in large-scale event environments. It encompasses entry flow, capacity control, safety protocols, on-site communication, staff positioning, and the technology systems that support all of it. At StriKing, crowd management is not an afterthought — it is a core competency and a competitive differentiator. When you are producing 260 events a year across venues of all shapes and sizes, you develop systems, instincts, and relationships that most agencies never build.
Why does crowd management matter for brand experiences?
The quality of a crowd experience determines the quality of the brand experience. Long entry lines, poor flow, safety concerns, or capacity issues damage brand perception in real time. StriKing's crowd management expertise means that attendees move smoothly, feel safe, and arrive at your activation in the right mindset. A well-managed crowd is a converted crowd.
What technology does StriKing use for crowd management?
We deploy a range of technology tools to support crowd management, including real-time attendance tracking, digital check-in systems, communication platforms for on-site staff, capacity monitoring tools, and flow management software. We continuously evaluate and adopt new technology to improve safety, efficiency, and the attendee experience. For large-scale activations and major sporting events, we integrate technology with trained staffing to create a seamless operation.
Does StriKing offer crowd management as a standalone service?
Yes. Brands, venues, and agencies can engage StriKing specifically for crowd management planning and execution — independent of broader event production. This is particularly relevant for major sporting events, concerts, festivals, and activations where an existing organizer needs specialized crowd operations support.
06

B2C Sampling & Field Marketing

Does StriKing run B2C product sampling programs?
Yes — B2C sampling and field marketing is one of our core service areas. We design and execute sampling programs that put your product directly in the hands of target consumers, in the right environments, at the right moments. From single-day sampling events to multi-market, multi-week campaigns, we manage everything: staffing, logistics, brand ambassador training, product handling, and reporting.
What makes a great sampling campaign?
A great sampling campaign is about right person, right place, right moment. StriKing brings three things most field marketing firms cannot: deep knowledge of Atlanta's consumer environments, an experienced brand ambassador network that represents your brand authentically, and the operational infrastructure to execute consistently at scale. We have run sampling programs for national brands including Red Bull, Cheribundi, and Smartfood Selects.
Can agencies engage StriKing for sampling on behalf of their clients?
Absolutely. StriKing frequently serves as the execution partner for agencies who need trusted, on-the-ground field marketing capabilities in Atlanta and the Southeast. We are built to integrate with agency workflows, adopt your brand guidelines, and deliver results you can report to your clients.
07

Clients & Industries

Who are StriKing's clients?
StriKing has worked with some of the most recognized brands in the world, including Kaiser Permanente, Red Bull, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, American Express, GM, AVON, Major League Baseball, Cartoon Network, the Atlanta Hawks, the Atlanta Braves, and MLS. Our client base spans healthcare, sports, entertainment, consumer goods, technology, and community organizations.
What is StriKing's relationship with Kaiser Permanente?
Kaiser Permanente is StriKing's longest-standing and largest client relationship. We produce approximately 260 events per year for Kaiser Permanente across the Atlanta market — everything from health fairs and community wellness events to large-scale corporate activations. This relationship reflects the depth of trust StriKing builds with clients who need a dependable, high-volume partner that delivers consistently.
Does StriKing work with other agencies?
Yes, and we actively welcome agency-to-agency partnerships. We serve as the Atlanta and Southeast execution partner for national and regional agencies that need trusted, on-the-ground production, staffing, and activation capabilities. We respect agency relationships, protect confidential client information, and operate as a seamless white-label or credited partner.
08

Atlanta & The Southeast

Is StriKing exclusively an Atlanta agency?
We are Atlanta-first, not Atlanta-only. Atlanta is our home, our primary market, and the foundation of our relationships, reputation, and community presence. Our 16-year history in the city gives us access, credibility, and institutional knowledge that outside agencies simply cannot replicate. That said, we have national production capabilities and have delivered campaigns across the Southeast and beyond.
What gives StriKing a home-field advantage in Atlanta?
Sixteen years of relationships. We know Atlanta's venues, permitting processes, community leaders, brand managers, agency partners, and media landscape intimately. Mike King is a recognized face in the city — connected to the Atlanta Hawks, the Old Fourth Ward community, Atlanta's arts and improv scene, and the broader marketing ecosystem. When StriKing shows up to an Atlanta event, we are part of the fabric of the city's event community.
What major Atlanta events has StriKing been part of?
StriKing has been part of some of Atlanta's most significant events, including the MLS All-Star Game and Concert, the Beltline Block Party, events for the Atlanta Hawks and Atlanta Braves, Kaiser Permanente community programming across Atlanta neighborhoods, and large-scale festival activations across the city. We have worked at Centennial Olympic Park, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, and neighborhoods across the metro area.
09

FIFA World Cup 2026

Is StriKing involved in FIFA World Cup 2026 activations?
Yes. Atlanta is one of the host cities for FIFA World Cup 2026, and StriKing is positioned to be a key activation partner for brands who need experienced, Atlanta-rooted event support. With our background in large-scale sporting events, crowd management, brand activation, and B2C field marketing, we are uniquely equipped to help brands capitalize on the massive opportunity that FIFA brings to Atlanta.
How can brands engage StriKing for FIFA World Cup 2026?
We are actively accepting inquiries from brands with boots on the ground in Atlanta during FIFA 2026 who need a local execution partner. Whether you need crowd management support, brand activation production, street team deployment, B2C sampling, or event logistics — we can help. Use the intake form on our website to tell us about your FIFA activation needs and we will schedule a consultation.
What kinds of FIFA-related work does StriKing support?
We support a full range of FIFA-adjacent activation work: brand activations in and around match venues and fan zones, street team and ambassador deployment across high-traffic Atlanta locations, B2C sampling and product trial in fan zones and event-adjacent locations, crowd management for high-volume brand experiences, corporate hospitality events, and pop-up experiences in Atlanta's commercial and cultural districts.
10

Agency & Vendor Partnerships

Does StriKing partner with other Atlanta agencies?
Yes — StriKing actively cultivates partnerships with agencies, vendors, production companies, and creative firms across Atlanta and nationally. We believe the best events happen when the right partners are in the room, and we have built a reputation as a collaborative, reliable, and professional partner. If you are an agency looking for an Atlanta-based execution partner, we want to talk.
Is StriKing available for staffing and brand ambassador services?
Yes. Staffing and brand ambassador deployment is a core service area. We maintain a network of experienced, trained brand ambassadors and event staff across Atlanta and the Southeast. Agencies and brands can engage us specifically for staffing support on activations they are managing, or as part of a broader end-to-end engagement.
How does StriKing approach white-label partnerships?
We are experienced at operating as a white-label execution partner or a credited co-producer — whatever serves the agency-client relationship best. We adopt your brand guidelines, communicate through your preferred channels, and protect client confidentiality. Our goal is to make your agency look great, not to compete with you.

Working With StriKing

How do we get started with StriKing?
The best way to start is to complete our inquiry form on strikingmarketing.com. Tell us about your brand, your event or activation concept, your timeline, and your goals — and a member of the StriKing team will be in touch promptly to schedule a consultation. We are also happy to connect directly at events, through our network, or via referral.
How far in advance should we book StriKing for an event?
For large-scale or complex events, we recommend reaching out 3 to 6 months in advance to allow time for strategic planning, permitting, venue coordination, and staffing. For smaller activations or sampling campaigns, we can sometimes move quickly — we are built for agility. For major events like FIFA World Cup 2026, reach out now, as Atlanta's event calendar is filling up fast.
Does StriKing offer fixed pricing or custom quotes?
All StriKing engagements are custom-quoted based on scope, scale, timeline, and complexity. We are committed to stretching your budget — meaning we will always work to maximize the impact of every dollar you invest. We are transparent about costs, proactive about budget management, and experienced at delivering high-quality events at a range of investment levels.
Can StriKing work as an extension of our internal marketing team?
Yes — and this is one of our most common and effective operating models. We integrate into your team's workflow, adopt your brand standards, communicate through your preferred tools, and function as if we were on your payroll. Many of our longest client relationships — including a major healthcare system for which we produce 260 events per year — are built exactly this way.
12

PR & Social Media

Does StriKing offer public relations services?
StriKing's approach to PR is event-first and Atlanta-first. We are not a traditional press-release PR firm — we are a PR-adjacent agency that generates buzz, coverage, and community engagement through live experiences. Our events create organic media moments, community stories, and social content that function as powerful PR assets. For clients who need event-driven PR strategy layered into an activation, we can support that.
Does StriKing offer social media services?
Social media is a natural extension of what we do — every event we produce generates content, moments, and community engagement that fuels social channels. We can support clients with social media strategy and content creation tied to event activations, and we partner with specialists for broader social media management needs. Ask us about this during your consultation.
Can StriKing support a full 360-degree campaign?
Yes. While our primary expertise is live events and experiential marketing, we are experienced at thinking across the full campaign arc — from pre-event buzz building and influencer seeding to on-site activation and post-event content amplification. We collaborate with creative, PR, digital, and social partners to ensure the live event serves as the centerpiece of a broader brand moment.
